Attention: Indian Education Parent Committee members:
The Indian Education Parent Committee will be holding its next meeting on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at 930 Eastern Avenue, Nashville, NC. It is vital that we have a good majority of parent committee members present for this meeting to vote and approve the Indian Education Parent Committee bylaws. If we do not have enough to make a quorum, we cannot vote and approve these bylaws. If, for any reason, you cannot attend in person, we are happy to share this meeting via Zoom so you can attend virtually.
Also, if you know of any other parents you think would be interested in participating in this committee, please have them reach out to LeighAnn Evans at levans@ncpschools.net or Adriana Havier at ahavier@ncpschools.net.
Please keep in mind; in order for a parent to become a part of the Indian Education Parent Committee, the parent must have a student(s) attending an NCP School, as well as their student(s) 506 form and verification of Native American tribal/nation status, turned in to the Federal Programs office with Nash County Public Schools.
