The learning that occurs in Elementary School forms the basis of all other learning for the rest of one's life.  It is the basic foundation in the formal educational structure. The goal of the Elementary Education department is to make sure that each elementary student receives an equitable, rigorous, and relevant education that will enable them to transition to secondary education successfully. The Elementary Education department equips teachers and principals with numerous resources to support teaching and learning along with professional development for them to make good decisions around student learning.
