🚨🗓️SHES families are invited to join us Thursday, March 13 from 5:30-7:00 for Curriculum Night. It will start at 5:30 in the Auditorium for a Pikmykid demonstration and to learn what you should expect to see, then you will move to the designated area for your student’s class or grade level team for a presentation. This is for all SHES families, grades K-5. We hope to see you there! 🚨🗓️

🚨🚨🚌Bus 251 will not have a driver on Tuesday morning, March 4, 2025. In the afternoon, Bus 251 students may arrive home approximately one hour later than their regular estimated time of arrival. They will ride Bus 82. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding! 🚨🚨🚌

📸 🚨Spring Picture Day has been rescheduled for Monday, March 24th. 📸🚨
📸 Students will take a group picture with their class as well as individual pictures.
📸 If you'd like to order a Class Picture, they are $10 and must be paid on or before March 24th.
📸 Individual pictures will not require prepayment. You will get to see them BEFORE buying them.
🚨We've extended the deadline to order Parent/Guardian Field Day shirts! If you'd like to order a shirt to match a student, please turn in your order and money BY WEDNESDAY, FEB. 26th!
🚨🚨Reminder- Student shirts are paid for by our Parent Teacher Team. We need to know their size. Make sure you turn in the form with your student's shirt size even if you are not purchasing an adult shirt!

Join Nash County Public Schools in recognizing National Pink Shirt Day on February 26 by wearing pink to show support for kindness, inclusion, and a bully-free world! This movement began when students in Nova Scotia stood up for a peer who was bullied for wearing pink—now, it’s a global symbol of unity and respect. K-2 families are invited to a presentation with Mr. Jones in the auditorium at 12:30pm, with the indoor parade to follow at 1:30pm. Due to inclement weather, all traditional Nash County Public Schools will be closed for students on Friday, February 21, 2025. Staff should follow telework procedures.
All Innovative Schools, CITI High School and Nash-Rocky Mount Early College High School, will operate on a remote learning schedule.
Additionally, all evening activities, including after-school care and athletics, have been canceled.

📢❄️🚨 Wednesday, February 19, 2025 and Thursday, February 20, 2025 will be Remote Learning Days for all of Nash County Public Schools (NCPS) 📢 ❄️🚨
🚨 Please check ROOMS for specific assignments/information from your child’s teacher.
🚨 Please message staff any time from 8am-3pm via ROOMS or email, but staff will be by their device specifically at the designated times shared to assist with any questions.
🚨 PreK- Grade 2 : No live instruction, however, office hours will be available.
🚨 Grades 3 -5 : Live instruction sessions via Google Meet.
🚨 Student attendance is required; however, NCPS has procedures in place to ensure students are not negatively affected if they are unable to complete tasks due to a lack of technology, power, or other challenges. If you have any questions, please contact your student’s teacher(s).
