Due to the forecast of below-freezing conditions and the potential for today’s precipitation to freeze on roadways, Nash County Public Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay for staff and students on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Essential personnel should report at their regular time, provided it is safe to do so.
Breakfast will be available at schools. Students may be dropped off 40 minutes prior to the start of their school day.

On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, NEDA hosted a student social event at Star City Skate and Play in Rocky Mount, NC. Students were able to step away from their computers and show off their skating abilities while getting to spend some quality time with their friends.
