This application is not for enrollment. If you are trying to enroll your student(s) into Nash County Public Schools, you will need to complete the new enrollment form, not this one.

Transfer Process

Transfer Process – Transfers are for parents requesting that their student(s) attend a school outside of their homeschool based on their address. 

  • This application process is not for new student enrollments. If you are enrolling your student, you will need to complete the new enrollment application process.

HOW TO APPLY

To begin an application, click the link below to be redirected to our Scribbles website. If this is your first time completing a transfer application, you will have to create an account and verify your email address before you are able to complete and submit an application. Any application that does not have the correct student ID number will not be processed. All transfer and release approvals are only good for one year and parents must reapply yearly. It is the sole responsibility of the parent to complete and submit applications. No notifications will be sent from the district. 

 

Available ApplicationsAll out of district students (employee and tuition) must submit an approved release from the district in which they reside. Once you have received your approved district release, you will need to upload it to your student’s application. Emailed approved district release forms will not be accepted. 

  • Employee Request for Student Transfer – for NCPS employees only
    • Only current employee request for student transfers will be processed.
  • Student Transfer Request - Non-Employee
  • Tuition Transfer Students - parents that reside outside of Nash County Public Schools attendance area. (In-district students are not eligible for tuition transfers)
  • District Release - for parents seeking enrollment outside of Nash County Public Schools click the link below to be redirected to our Scribbles website.
    • https://nashncc.scriborder.com/ 
      • A district release form must be completed for all students that reside within the attendance area for Nash County Public Schools and approved by the Board of Education prior to the student being released from our district to attend schools outside the district.
