ncpsHERO Nomination Form

We are launching an #ncpsHERO recognition program to celebrate our NCPS staff and students who exemplify characteristics of a Nash County Public School HERO!

Each month, we will showcase our #ncpsHEROes on the district website and on social media. Monthly, we will select one nominee per category to receive a special #ncpsHERO award at the Regular Board of Education meeting.

How do I nominate a #ncpsHERO?

Email Carrie Davis at cbdavis@ncpschools.net with the name of the nominee, the school of the nominee, why this person exemplifies the qualities below, and a brief description of why this person is a HERO.

Qualities:

Honesty & Integrity

  • Displays a principled dedication to NCPS values and beliefs; always seeks to reflect ethical standards and do the right thing regardless of the circumstances.

Efficiency & Innovation

  • Contributes to efficiency or effectiveness through cost saving, creativity, or problem-solving, and develops new ideas to show promise for a broad impact on NCPS.

Reliable & Collaborative

  • Consistently and substantially demonstrates the ability and willingness to work positively, respectfully, and effectively with others; has significantly improved customer service or has increased satisfaction in their area.

Outperformance & Excellence

  • Contributes to the development and/or improvement of programs, services, or curriculum; fosters growth, effectiveness, or professional development; contributes to student success by closing achievement gaps, measuring progress/using assessments, implementing interventions, or student engagement; exemplar academic or extracurricular accomplishment.
