Digital Teaching and Learning

Digital Teaching and Learning in Nash County Public Schools supports teachers, administrators, and instructional leaders (coaches, facilitators, and multi-classroom leaders) in aligning digital resources, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and enhancing explicit instruction to optimize learning time for all students.

Digital Teaching and Learning Priorities:

Differentiation and Accessibility

  • By leveraging technology, we will ensure that educational materials and experiences are accessible to all.

Meaningful Learning Tasks

  • We encourage the design and implementation of real-world tasks that enable students to apply their knowledge and skills in practical settings and advocate for the thoughtful and purposeful integration of digital tools across all grade levels and subjects.

Professional Learning for All Staff

  • By providing training that highlights the ISTE Standards for teachers, coaches, and administrators, staff will leverage digital tools effectively, integrate technology seamlessly into the curriculum, and adopt innovative teaching strategies.
