CEP - Community Eligibility Provision Schools
The Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) is a program that Nash County Public Schools is participating in this school year. This provision allows eligible schools to provide breakfast and lunch to all students at no charge.
Children need healthy meals to learn. Nash County Public Schools offers healthy meals every school day. The following schools have been approved to participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2022-2023 school year.

Edwards Middle
Fairview Elementary
Parker Middle

Spring Hope Elementary

Children in your household attending a CEP school:
Students at the schools listed above will automatically receive free meals at breakfast and lunch. No application is needed for students attending CEP schools and applications will not be sent home with your child at a CEP school. If you have another child or other children not attending a CEP school and would like to apply for meal benefits you may complete a Free & Reduced Meal application. Follow the instructions below. All students will still need to purchase snacks or extra food items.

Children in your household not attending a CEP school:
If you have a child or children in your household attending a school other than one of the CEP schools listed above and would like to apply for meal benefits please complete a Free & Reduced Meal application for them. An application must be submitted and received by the School Nutrition office in order for meal benefits to be approved. Your child or children attending a CEP school must still be listed as a family member in Part I on this application with their school, grade and income or no income listed. They have to be included as part of your household when submitting an application for children not attending one of the schools above.

CEP meal benefits do not transfer to a non CEP school. An application must be submitted immediately. Meal applications are available online at www.lunchapplication.com.
