Applying for Free & Reduced Price School Meals
You can apply online for your children to receive free or reduced price meals. Your application will be sent from a secure website directly to the Nash County School Nutrition Department, so you don't need to worry about filling out a paper form that could be lost or misplaced.
www.LunchApplication.com has been designed to make it easy for you to know exactly what information you need to provide and to guide you through the process. Once your application has been received the School Nutrition Office will determine your eligibility and send you a letter with the results.

If you do not have access to the Internet, a free and reduced price meal application is available at your child's school or at the School Nutrition Office. Each student at schools not participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) will receive a free and reduced-price meal application on the first day of school.
Please complete one application per family for all children attending Nash County Public Schools and return it to the school that your child's application came from or mail the completed application to the School Nutrition Office, PO Box 1260, Rocky Mount, NC 27802.
Please make sure you follow directions and complete the application. Incomplete applications will be returned home with the student for corrections.
A new application must be submitted each school year. Meal benefits for last school year will carry over for the first 30 days of school to give parents/guardians time to submit a new application.
Parents that have received a Direct Certification letter are not required to complete and submit an application.
