Student Voice in Action at Rocky Mount Middle School 🎤
We love seeing our students lead with creativity and confidence. A big shout-out to 7th grader Malia Gupton, who launched a student-created mini web series that she fully conceptualized, wrote, and hosted. From developing the questions to conducting interviews and collaborating with staff to bring her vision to life, Malia is showing what happens when students are empowered to dream big and take the lead. She even “hired” a director (Mrs. Clark!) to help bring her vision to life. Malia’s work is a great example of how creativity, leadership, and real-world skills come together in our schools.
