School may be out, but our leaders are inspired, informed, and getting ready for the best year yet! 💡📚
This past month, principals, assistant principals, directors, senior cabinet, and coordinators came together at the Impact Center at Word Tabernacle Church for a powerful leadership retreat with the theme “Breaking Down Silos; Building Up Alignment.” They heard key updates from Superintendent Dr. Steve Ellis, collaborated across departments, and participated in breakout sessions led by our very own district staff. It was all about staying informed and united to give students the best education possible.
A huge shoutout to Yolanda Wiggins, Director of Professional Learning, and Sylvia Anthony-McGeachy, Director of Beginning Teachers, for planning this impactful event!
We also want to shout out our amazing caterers who go above and beyond to support our schools, Farmer and the Dail, Debra Dell Catering, and our very own Career and Technical Education department!
