🎉 Congratulations to April Wade, who was recently surprised with the Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) National High Performer Award for Employer and Community Impact!
April, an employee of CISNC/JNCG who teaches the JAG curriculum at Rocky Mount High School, was recognized for her outstanding work connecting students with meaningful career opportunities through employer and community partnerships.
During the 2025-2026 school year, she connected with more than 30 area businesses to provide students with opportunities such as field trips, guest speakers, career connections and individualized support. She also worked with 54 students, including 37 seniors, and we are proud to share that 100% of those seniors graduated!
Her support does not stop at graduation. April continues to stay connected with students as they transition into employment, college, and other postsecondary opportunities.
